What country is this?

Howdy!

I just bought this true masterpiece called " Que pais é este e outros poemas de 1980" , and I'm very excited to start reading it. As soon as I get some free time.

By: Affonso Romana de Sant'Anna

Uma coisa é um país,
outra um ajuntamento.

Uma coisa é um país,
outra um regimento.

Uma coisa é um país,
outra o confinamento.

Mas já soube datas, guerras, estátuas
usei caderno "Avante"

outra o aviltamento.

Há 500 anos caçamos índios e operários,
há 500 anos queimamos árvores e hereges,
há 500 anos estupramos livros e mulheres,
há 500 anos sugamos negras e aluguéis.

Há 500 anos dizemos:
que o futuro a Deus pertence,
que Deus nasceu na Bahia,
que São Jorge é que é guerreiro,
que do amanhã ninguém sabe,
que conosco ninguém pode,
que quem não pode sacode.

Há 500 anos somos pretos de alma branca,
não somos nada violentos,
quem espera sempre alcança
e quem não chora não mama
ou quem tem padrinho vivo
não morre nunca pagão.

Há 500 anos propalamos:
este é o país do futuro,
antes tarde do que nunca,
mais vale quem Deus ajuda
e a Europa ainda se curva.

Há 500 anos
somos raposas verdes
colhendo uvas com os olhos,

semeamos promessa e vento
com tempestades na boca,

sonhamos a paz da Suécia
com suíças militares,

vendemos siris na estrada
e papagaios em Haia,

senzalamos casas-grandes
e sobradamos mocambos,

bebemos cachaça e brahma
joaquim silvério e derrama,

a polícia nos dispersa
e o futebol nos conclama,

cantamos salve-rainhas
e salve-se quem puder,

pois Jesus Cristo nos mata
num carnaval de mulatas.

Au Revoir!

Black on black time

Hi guys!

I woke up this Sunday morning really early and the first thing that came to my mind was open my window to allow the bright light to engulf my bedroom, I looked out over this familiar landscape and enjoy the unbroken sunshine, actually it makes me feel great like an energetic to start my day. I finally took some new pictures yesterday to fill up the emptiness of this blog. As you can see I was missing my old times, I mean my Goth times, then while dusting and vacuuming my whole house I decided to reorganized my wardrobe and happened to see my old Goth clothing all scattered gathering dust in my bottom drawer, as I’ve always had a thing for the gothic look and all kind of stuff that well you can imagine, after that I thought to myself why not revive this fleeting moment for a little awhile and turn it into some photographs?  So I did. All corsets, boot leathers, gothic dresses, dark eyes make up, but the gist of it is BE HAPPY as every second that passes by, it’s already in the past.

 Have a wonderful weekend*

Holy Cheese!!! it's Orange.

Sometimes it is Smart to believe in Miracles

I've found this little quote somewhere today and it has everything to do with me right now! Just let me explain why, I'm a kind of person who loves changing my color hair, so that I decided to dye it again to blonde, but it didn't work well, it's such a shame I was pretty sure it would work...
But hey, What can I do about it?
At this point, I think you must be asking yourself why " Why doesn't she go to a Hair Salon to get it done?" it's absolutely easy! you're right  I could go, of course, but an inward voice keep telling me " Don't do THAT"
I'm fully aware it'd turn out like a suicide to me, as they probably would mess up with my hair.
NO WAY!

Anyway, does anyone here like True Blood ?
I was watching it a few minutes ago, I love the theme song! "Bad things" with a perfect cast, better yet, the way the director organises the whole thing it looks like so real and a flawless scriptwriting, despite of the exaggerated sex- scenes, if you're running out of things to do,Look no further!

I've just realized that I'm talking too much here... I'm just gonna go continue my tv show!

I promise next posts I'll write about something important and interesting!

I'm starting to get used to my new orange hair!
That's it!
See you next time!

It’s Easy said than Done !!!

Let’s face it…

There will be always someoneto tell you to not demonstrate your feelings when you’re nervous and stay calm. When it comes to Public speaking in front a crowd of people, staring at you. I'm so fed up with it! I'm gonna let you in on a little secret “My entire life I have beenpainfully shy in social situations”, but in the reality people don’t give a damn asthey never will.

First off, everyone is worried with their own shortcomings, after reading an article about it, everyone beginto realize it’s really true. We’re so obsessed with ourselves that instantly welose our focus on what we’re doing or worse, forgetting to pay attention toothers are talking about. I find it so funny once all of us were designed tolisten as we have two ears and only ONE mouth!
This very morning, I decidedto turn my power into “Confidence AND Empathy” it WORKED out, you can gowherever you want, if you know how to use this two precious traits!

That’s all I have to say right now…
I'm also a huge fan of the 80'S !!!

Truth be told

Truth be told, I don't really know what I should do tomorrow, if I go to college or don't go to, and take that annoy exame or go to the forum. Here is the thing, I don't wanna do none of it!

speaking of which, when you're unemployed, there's always plenty of time to watch TV, killing your time with a bunch of tv shows, for instance: I've just finished to watch Nowhere Boy and to be honest I didn't like it at all.

Particularly, I didn't like the end of it. It could've be better! I'm fully aware that you can’t please everyone, but I think it wouldn't hurt trying.

That's it everybody....

See you next time!
